This session spotlighted data on high school dropout rates and discussed several effective interventions that can be used to identify at-risk students and prevent dropout.
Nettie Legters Research Scientist, The Center for Social Organization of Schools at the Johns Hopkins University	Nettie Legters's presentation identified who is dropping out, where they are, and why, and explained how prevention tools such as early warning systems and on- and off-track indicators can be used to identify students at risk of dropping out. Loujeania Bost Director, National Dropout Prevention Center for Students with Disabilities	Loujeania Bost offered statistics on the dropout rates of students with disabilities and presented specific actions that schools and communities can take to help students with special needs succeed.
