Breakout 2: Dropout Prevention

This session spotlighted data on high school dropout rates and discussed several effective interventions that can be used to identify at-risk students and prevent dropout.

Nettie Legters's presentation identified who is dropping out, where they are, and why, and explained how prevention tools such as early warning systems and on- and off-track indicators can be used to identify students at risk of dropping out.
